Whoa take it easy. I thought we covered it in the clever copy we wrote up above but now I see that we didn't. We stand corrected. If we may turn the tables, I think what's more important is why you scrolled down and clicked this faq with such an unsettled mind. Perhaps a cold drink in an unpretenious bar with a good friend or book might be in order. Report back later and let us know how you're doing.
Hello we are Pecos.
Full disclosure, at the moment, “we” is just me, Aaron, but depending on the size of your project, I may call for backup.
We are a small team that loves UX, design, and development.
Not like the way you say, “I love cash flow forecasting my resume”. This love is genuine. And you’re right to be skeptical, but we’re very serious.
Building things and improving things makes us happy.
Not building things or worse, leaving things adequate when they could be exceptional: that makes us uncomfortable.
Tell us about your project.
And we’ll tell you why the full attention of a small, implausibly passionate team is your best way to make it something truly great.
We have a FAQ!
Who the hell is Pecos?
Why are you called Pecos?
The Pecos is a place where a river begins in some mountains in the state of New Mexico outsite the city of Santa Fe. Its a thread of water that leads from deep west Texas straight to one of the most beautiful and special spots on earth. Does that answer your question?
I have an idea for an app.
Ah well that's not even a question is it, nice try.
I am digging the Pecos font, what is its deal?
YES! Its the amazing Architype Albers created by the preeminant Josef Albers an enormous hero of ours.
Is the handling of the Professor Moriarty situation in S02 E03 the largest failure of Picard’s career?
Oh my gosh yes. Such a landmark moment in the history of AI, very problematic from many angles. And this is why we're great at parties.
Why are you treating this FAQ like a conversation?
Yeah we'd be annoyed as well but hopefully nobody is making you read this.
